Payroll Support List Has Been Released

PHILIPSBURG--The Finance Ministry on Friday released the long-awaited list of businesses that received payroll support under the St. Maarten Stimulus and Relief Plan (SSRP).

The list shows the businesses that received payroll support in April and May.

An average of NAf. 13 million per month in payroll support was subsidised by the government of St. Maarten, which assisted in paying more than 6,100 employees per month. Once again, we would like to thank our executing partners [Social and Health Insurances Ed.] SZV for their continued support through this process, said the Finance Ministry in a statement on Friday.

Persons who have not received their salary for April and May, but see their employers name on the list are requested to contact governments Labour Department.

St. Maarten Now Has 89 Active Covid-19 Cases.
