Prime Minister Marlin Meets With Dutch Minister For Interior And Kingdom Relations Plasterk

GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – On Wednesday morning, Prime Minister Hon. William Marlin continued with his working visits in The Hague, the Netherlands when he met with Minister of Interior and Kingdom Relations Hon. Ronald Plasterk.

Prime Minister Marlin described the discussions with the Dutch Minister as fruitful, and views were exchanged on issues such as the financial situation of the country, the Integrity Chamber, and making it possible for students abroad to vote as well as about electoral reform.

Coast Guard Curaçao Considers Not Intercepting Drugs Anymore

WILLEMSTAD – Chances are that officers of the Coast Guard Curaçao next will not intercept drugs anymore next week. They are angry at the Minister of Justice, Nelson Navarro, who has said that the coast guard officers are “criminals with ties to the underworld”.
