Pm Heyliger-Marten Determined To Make Vitamin Supplements Free For All Seniors

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — Legislators will soon debate a proposal by Faction Leader for the United People’s Party in Parliament, MP Grisha Heyliger-Marten, to add vitamin supplements to the SZV package for Senior Citizens, fulfilling a campaign promise and pledge to do more for the elderly.

Her goal is for the legislation to contribute to the health of senior citizens in particular, while bringing them much needed financial relief as well.

Gebe Selection Process Completed, 12.5% Salary Cuts To Be Discussed.

PHILIPSBURG:--- Minister of VROMI Egbert Jurendy Doran confirmed on Wednesday that the selection process for the management board of GEBE has been completed. He said the shareholder already selected the three candidates and the Supervisory Board of Directors are in the process of making contact with the selected candidates. Doran said after that the screening process should begin as long as the three candidates accept the positions.
Last week the Council of Ministers selected Robert Jan James for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Randel Hato for Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Merril Jimmy Timmer for Chief Operations Officer.

Panneflek: Expresses Words Of Thanks To The Ambulance Department And Rav Ambulance Relief Support Team For Covid-19 Relief

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten The Honorable Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labor (VSA) Richard Panneflek announced that Relief Support was requested for the Ambulance Department by the Ministry of VSA through the Ministry of Public Health in the Netherlands (VWS). The request was approved by the Department of Foreign Affairs (BZK) and organized in collaboration with our counterparts from the Regional Ambulance Organization (RAV) from Brabant-Midden-West-Noord.

The first relief support mission was executed from June 26th to July 10th 2020, with 6 staff members, including certified ambulance nurses and ambulance drivers, working along with the local Ambulance staff.
A second relief support mission was executed recently from September 4th to September 25th 2020, with an ambulance team of 6 members from RAV Brabant-Midden-

The Nature Foundation St. Maarten Receives New Educational Materials For The Save St. Maarten Corals Project With The Assistance Of Virtual Concepts International And Dcna.

St. Maarten recently received a coral polyp model and created a poster about the state of St. Maartens Coral Reefs as new educational materials for presentations in coordination with the Save St. Maarten Corals Project. Both the coral polyp model and the poster will be used to help educate the public of the importance of coral reefs surrounding the island and what threats they are facing.
