Rotary Sunset Inducts Three Professionals

COLE BAY, Sint Maarten The Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunset inductedthreenew members to the club. Joining Rotary Sunset are RubenPantophlet,IshkaJose andLinaisaMardenborough.All inductees took the oath and were sworn in byPresident of Rotary SunsetNorrisaAnatolduring the clubs general meeting.

Ruben Pantophlet, sponsored by Rotarian Elisia Lake, is employed by the Customs Department of Sint Maarten and hisclassification within Rotary is Law Enforcement. LinaisaMardenborough, sponsored by Rotarian Tamara Leonard, is the Managing Director of Dalia Noor B.V and her classification is Landscaping and Waste Management within Rotary. Ishka Jose, sponsored by Rotarian Elisia Lake, is employed by Marine Management and Consulting N.V and her classification within Rotary is Human Resource and Compliance.

Mp Bucamper Suggests Stiffer Penalties For Convicted Sexual Abusers

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – With the surfacing of yet another case of alleged sexual abuse of minors, MP Claudius Toontje Buncamper of the USP faction in parliament expresses his concerns with the unwarranted incident.

MADAME ESTATE, St. Maarten  – I AM SXM Foundation has brought together two of the country's garbage collecting and cleaning companies to assist St. Maarten Zoo with its extensive maintenance and cleaning work.

Leonard Enterprise and Soualiga Waste Management, though the intercession of I AM SXM, have committed to cleaning maintenance of the zoo every two weeks. Crews from both companies will work together on a selected day to ensure the zoo is in tiptop shape.

Adding to the bi-weekly cleaning, the two companies will do a general maintenance every month.

The combination of the cleaning days is expected to keep the zoo in a manageable and beautiful state for its full-time occupants and its visitors.
