The Democratic Party has been one of the longest serving parties in the history of St. Maarten.  We have had our ups and downs, but we have been there for the people of St. Maarten, now more than ever before. Our main goal was and continues to be, “how can we make our island a better place for the people of St. Maarten”.
To hear a political party, who welcomed the leader of the Democratic Party as the chairlady in one breathe and denounce her in the next, say some of the most unprofessional things is a shame to say the least.  This berating article from the USP board comes as no surprise, because the same lowdown type of message was previously shared in the NA/USP/DP coalition WhatsApp chat.

Shanice represented St. Maarten to the best of her ability and won “Best Promotional Video (produced by Soualiga Media)â€, Best Interview and Best Talent and ultimately placed 2nd Runner-up. EBENEZER – The candidates of the very first ever Mr. and Ms. PSVE pageant presented themselves to the student body of the St. Maarten Academy PSVE at 9:30am Tuesday, February 14.
The 9 contestants (3 boys and 6 girls) gave brave and memorable introductions before an illustrious panel of judges in the persons of Anna Rabess-Richardson, President of Posh Productions; Sharon Layne, former Miss Mature 2012; and Sidney de Weever, pageant and music enthusiast.

Nominate Your Own Cultural Icon For Telcell’S “I Am Carnival†Promotional Campaign.
Pond Island:--- TelEm Group’s Commercial Division will once again be coloring this year’s carnival event with dazzling posters of the island’s cultural icons – past and present.
For the second year running the department will be adopting the “I Am Carnival†theme that was successfully run last year featuring a host of fun activities, promotions and hundreds of posters of local icons promoting the Arts & Culture on St. Maarten.
