PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – La ministra de Justicia, Anna Richardson, revel el mircoles que existe un convenio entre tres ministerios que permite a los empresarios hacer lo correcto por sus empleados, refirindose a los trabajadores leales que no han obtenido un estatus legal a pesar de aos de servicio a las empresas.

Richardson dijo que el Ministerio de Salud Pblica, Desarrollo Social y Trabajo VSA, el Ministerio de Turismo, Asuntos Econmicos, Transporte y Telecomunicaciones (TEATT) y el Ministerio de Justicia estn otorgando a los empresarios una especie de perodo de gracia.

Durante este ejercicio se represent un escenario en vivo en el que un barco que transportaba drogas ilegales fue detenido por la guardia costera y llevado a tierra para su inspeccin. Posteriormente en el escenario la embarcacin se incendi y varios miembros de la tripulacin resultaron heridos.

PHILIPSBURG:--- On Wednesday, May 25, 2022, a live drill was held at the A.C. Wathey Cruise Facilities involving several government entities.
During this exercise, a live scenario was played out in which a vessel transporting illegal drugs was stopped by the coast guard and taken to shore for inspection. Later in the scenario, the vessel caught fire and several members of the crew sustained injuries.

During the drill, the police, fire department, ambulance, coastguard, and other partners had to perform their tasks within the scenario.
