Limpieza Comunitaria En La Fbrica De Sal Foga Fue Un xito!

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – Decenas de personas, incluyendo organizaciones comunitarias, salieron el sbado 28 de enero desde las 7:00am hasta la tarde y contribuyeron a la limpieza necesaria de la Fbrica de Sal FOGA, que fue construida en 1862. Las ruinas de la antigua fbrica de sal son un lugar patrimonial protegido y cae bajo la proteccin del Gobierno de Sint Maarten, a saber, el Ministerio de Educacin, Cultura, Juventud y Deporte (ECYS). Debido a la sobrepoblacin de fauna y la contaminacin, el monumento histrico no es accesible fcilmente ni visible al pblico.

Philipsburg, Sint Maarten — On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, Independent Members of Parliament S. Ludmila Duncan and Grisha Heyliger-Marten, as well as Party for Progress (PFP) Member of Parliament Melissa Gumbs submitted a request for an urgent public meeting on the matter of heritage protection.
