Simpson Bay:--- There have already been some substantial positive environmental updates due to the discarding of massive volumes of debris and waste during the pre-works of the Airport Terminal Reconstruction Project. The debris and waste, as a result of Hurricane Irma, was diverted from entering the local landfill in the capital of the country, from the Mold Remediation and Waste Disposal Management Works.

This pre-work was remediated in the basement, the former check-in hall, the departure hall level 1, and PJIAE executive spaces on level 2 of the Princess Juliana International Airport Terminal Building (SXM).

Kpsm Officers Graduate, Class Of 2015 (Bpo-2)

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – On Friday, May 7, 2021, 15 police officers from the Class of 2015 attended their graduation ceremony held in front of the Police Head Quarters in Philipsburg.

The graduation was attended to by His Excellency the Governor of Sint Maarten Drs. Jacobs questions follow-through from the Netherlands on liquidity support and requests Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte's intervention to address unnecessary delays and have the loan agreement for the liquidity support sent to St. Maarten without any further delays.

St. Maarten has largely complied with all the conditions placed by the government of the Netherlands, and thus, the current delay is inexplicable.

~ Government yet to deliberate the Henderson International verdict. ~

PHILIPSBURG: --- The Council of Ministers is yet to deliberate the verdict delivered on Tuesday against the local and Kingdom Government with the contract that was taken away from Henderson International in late 2017 and granted to Smith & Orloff Associates by former Prime Minister Leona Romeo Marlin cabinet.
Prime Minister Silveria Jacobs said that while the Council of Ministers was notified of the verdict the COM did not get a chance to deliberate and make a decision on its way forward.
