Netherlands To Provide Vaccines For 50,150, But Country Could Receive Fewer Based On Demand

Ivsa Focusing On Covid 19 Vaccination Campaign.

PHILIPSBURG: --- Minister of VSA Richard Panneflek said on Wednesday at the Council of Ministers press briefing that CPS is focusing heavily on informing the general public about the COVID 19 vaccine that will soon roll out on St. Maarten. So far just about 1,600 persons registered for the vaccine will start at CPS then roll out to the community help desks, in Cole Bay and Dutch Quarter.

Minister Ludmila De Weever Announces Use Of All Fda Approved Antigen Rapid Tests For Usa & Canadian Passengers

Philipsburg, Sint Maarten — After consultation and approval of Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labor Richard Panneflek, Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transportation and Telecommunications, Ludmila de Weever, is very happy to announce a move that will surely assist in increasing our tourist numbers and airline load factors.

As of February 17, 2021 passengers arriving from the United States of America and Canada can use all FDA approved rapid antigen tests for travel to Sint Maarten.
This includes those antigen tests with Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) as well.
This does not include At Home Tests.

Active Covid-19 Cases Drop To 89

CPS is located in the Vineyard Building

PHILIPSBURG--Thirteen persons have tested positive for COVID-19, but 41 persons reportedly have recovered, bringing the total number of active cases to 89 as of Thursday, February 11.

  The countrys total number of confirmed cases is now 1,985.

  Collective Prevention Services (CPS) is monitoring 89 persons in home isolation. There are currently no patients hospitalised at St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) Read more

First Deliveries Of Covid-19 Vaccines Around The 15Th Of February To The Caribbean Part Of The Kingdom

BES Islands — The Caribbean part of the Kingdom is on track to start vaccinating against COVID-19 around the 15th of February 2021, just as planned. The RIVM is preparing the first shipments of vaccines. For Saba and St. Eustatius it concerns the first delivery of the Moderna vaccine.
