Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten - The main sponsor for the Scotiabank Rotary-Rotaract Spelling Bee is Scotiabank. At the weekly meeting of The Rotary Club of St. Maarten-Mid Isle on Tuesday Ms. Selma Baker presented a check to President Veronica Jansen-Webster.
The preliminary round of The Scotiabank Rotary-Rotaract Spelling Bee will kick off on Sunday October 16th, the semi-finals on Sunday October 23rd and the finals on Sunday October 30th. All three rounds will take place at the Belair Community Centre.
In addition Mid Isle has also organized four tutorial sessions for all students taking part in The Scotiabank Rotary-Rotoract Spelling Bee. These tutorials will be held at the University of St. Maarten on Pond Island on Saturday September 24th, October 1st and 15th from 11am – 1pm.
If there are sufficient requests for an additional tutorial session this can be organized for Saturday October 8th.
