Curfew Extended Until Friday June 11Th Inclusive.

MARIGOT:--- The Prefecture of St. Martin announced on Tuesday that based on the latest figures of positive COVID-19 cases, the curfew has been extended until Friday, June 11th.
The latest health bulletin from Public Health France reports 105 new cases for the period from May 24 to 30. Since May 20, 7 people have died (including 4 last week) and 11 medical evacuations to the CH in Guadeloupe have been carried out. Today, 10 people are hospitalized at Louis Constant Fleming Hospital.

Attorney-General To Hold Introductory Meetings In Sint Maarten

Mr. Ton Maan, Attorney-General of Curaao and St. Maarten, and Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – Attorney-General of Curaao and St. Maarten, and Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, Mr. Ton Maan, will hold introductory meetings on Sint Maarten as of Monday, June 7, 2021.

The Attorney-General arrived on Sint Maarten Sunday afternoon.

The Attorney-General took up his post as of April 1, but has been unable to conduct in-person meetings on Sint Maarten earlier due to the COVID-19-related lockdown in Curaao and the resulting border closure between Sint Maarten and Curaao.

PHILIPSBURG:---  On Tuesday, June 1st, Dutchbased foundation Childfund Sint Maarten hosted a ceremony at the Helmich Snijders Hillside Christian School, where the chairman, Mr. GerritJan Greven, presented 26 schools with vouchers for school uniforms.
