PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — In a press release, the UD questions the seemingly nonexistence relationship between the Government of St.Maarten and the Collectivity of St.Martin. “Have the respective Ministers met with their French-Side counterparts since taking office over a year ago?” the party questions.

The UD is on record for standing up for this relationship, as the party is convinced that the future of this island is one of togetherness, not separation.Other than lofty words at commemorative events, there is lately very little to show for the one-islandness many like to profess.

PHILIPSBURG:--- Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labor, Omar Ottley would like to inform the public that as of Monday, June 14th, residents of Sint Maarten, Saba, Sint Eustatius, and Bonaire can enter the country without a negative rt-PCR or antigen test once they are fully vaccinated for two weeks or more after their second dose in a 2-dose series of the Pfizer, AstraZeneca or Moderna vaccines or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine of the Johnson & Johnsons Janssen vaccine.

8 Confirmed Covid-19 Cases Today

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The Minister ofPublic Health,Social Development and LaborOmar Ottleyextends his sincere condolencesto the familyand friendsof Sint Maartens31stCOVID-19 victim, whohaspassed away.Heart felt thoughts go out the familyin this time of sorrow.

As of June 10th, there were eight (8) persons who tested positive for COVID-19; howeverone (1) person had recovered; bringing the total active cases to seventy seven (77). The total number of confirmed cases is now two thousand five hundred eleven (2511).

Central Committee Meeting Of Parliament Concerning The Financial Status Of Nv G.E.B.E. & Draft National Ordinance To Increase The Maximum Age Of The Members Of The High Councils Of State.

The Central Committee meeting is a continuation of the meeting which started on March 31, 2021, and was adjourned on April 26, 2021. Curfew Extended Until Friday June 11Th Inclusive.

MARIGOT:--- The Prefecture of St. Martin announced on Tuesday that based on the latest figures of positive COVID-19 cases, the curfew has been extended until Friday, June 11th.
The latest health bulletin from Public Health France reports 105 new cases for the period from May 24 to 30. Since May 20, 7 people have died (including 4 last week) and 11 medical evacuations to the CH in Guadeloupe have been carried out. Today, 10 people are hospitalized at Louis Constant Fleming Hospital.
