Businesses Will Be Able To Open Until 2.00Am Within Short

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transportation and Telecommunications(Ministry of TEATT), Ludmila de Weever,said on Wednesday that the Ministry of TEATT andthe Ministry of Public Health, Social Development andLabour(Ministry of VSA),are working on a ministerial regulation that would allow the nightlife entertainment businesses to remain open until 2.00AM.

The publication of the regulation may come as soon as this weekend which would permit those businesses to remain open instead of having to close at 12.00 AM which was the initial stipulation that was introduced for a two-week period in relation to the nations COVID-19 public health and safety protocols.

GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) On Friday, April 23,theSint Maarten Government administrative support professionals were invited to a virtual worksho-vational session with the theme, A Decisive Administrative ProfessionalinAn Ambitious Country.

This theme was derived from one of the National Development Vision 2030, which Prime Minister (PM) Silveria Jacobs launched on July 16, 2020. 

The session, which was a hybrid of a workshop and motivational episodes, was facilitated by Thulani Munerenyu, a Human Capital Development Consultant of LILUVU Training and Consulting, a South African based company. 

The worksho-vational session was a way for the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers(COM) to express their gratitude and show appreciation to all support professionals especially during the COVID-19 Pandemic, where remote working was prevalent, the support role of these professionals had to evolve virtually, displaying their highly adaptive skills.

Cps Pop-Up Community Vaccination Clinic Surpasses All Expectations

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten TheMinister of Public Health, Social Development and Labor (VSA), Omar Ottleyis ecstatic to relay thatCPS hosted a successfulPOP-UPvaccination clinic. A total of one hundred thirty two (132)persons were vaccinated; however due to the overwhelming support from the public, the vaccinationstock was used by noon. CPS in-turn registered persons who walked-up to be vaccinateduntil 2 PM.These persons were provided appointments based on their convenience.
