SPECIAL FEATURE: A tropical wave located a few huNDred miles east of the Leeward IslaNDs has become a bit more organized aND currently has a low to high (30-70%) chance of development in the next 2-7 days. Environmental coNDitions appear favorable for a tropical depression to form this weekeND. Another tropical wave (i.e. invest 99L) over the eastern Tropical Atlantic has a medium (40%) chance of formation in the next 2-7 days. However, environmental coNDitions appear margiSPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAlly favorable for additioSPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAl development over the next couple of days. The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor the Atlantic aND inform the public accordingly.
