Dutch Quarter:--- Member of Parliament NDidate' href='/newspolitician/578/william-marlin'>William Marlin also known as the legeND of the SPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAtioSPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAl Alliance officially passes on the baton to his son Cloyd OhNDhae Marlin on Saturday evening when OhNDhae launched his political campaign at the Dutch Quarter Community Center.Marlin who began his political career some 45 years ago as the fouNDing secretary of the St. Maarten Patriotic Movement which later changed to the St. Maarten Patriotic Alliance now known as the SPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAtioSPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAl Alliance said it gives him joy to officially pass on the baton to his son.Marlin said his son OhNDhae was his mascot during political campaigns, he said his son got much more involved as he aged, aND he became a prominent part of his campaigns aND the SPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAtioSPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAl Alliance.Eventually, OhNDhae became his fathers campaign maSPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAger, he is also known as the one who had a key eye in identifying new caNDidates to join the party slate aND he also played a major role in their campaigns as well.Marlin told the large gathering that his son OhNDhae has more than 20 years of experience in the political areSPArty/23/national-alliance'>NA, he is considered to be a seasoned politician that is very much solution-oriented.After officially declaring that he has given the baton over to his son so that he could fiSPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAlly contest the January 2024 Parliamentary Elections, Marlin was honored by the fouNDing members of the SPM/SPA/ SPArty/23/national-alliance'>NA.
