PHILIPSBURG:--- On Monday, December 13th the Latin artist Johan Misiedjan from Belgium arrived in Sint Maarten on promotour.
It is the intention that his management team will start an intensive promotion of his music through the media in various Caribbean countries.
The singer of Surinamese origin scored 16 number one hits in his mother country and was number one in the national top 40 of Suriname for no less than 13 weeks with his last bachata hit Mi lobi wi. This hit was also number 1 for three weeks at radio Stanvaste in the Netherlands.
Johan Misiedjan has already released 3 albums and is working on his fourth. The unique thing is that Johan sings Latin music in Aucaans ( a Surinamese language) The singer has had several honors in his long career, including the Caribbean Entertainment Award in 2002 in Holland and the Most Outstanding Award.
Johan is an artist and businessman in Belgium, he runs his own company All Management Consultancy and Entertainment.
In 2004 his record label Showcenter signed a distribution contract with the world-famous zouk band Kassav.
After arrival, he had a business meeting with Robert Budike from Projects Consultancy and Management International NV.
