Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
PHILIPSBURG – On Tuesday, July 4, Coach Abdul Wathey along with support staff and the 18 Dynamics Track Club athletes, travelled to Curaçao to compete in the 25th annual Track and Field meet.
The games are taking place from July 4-11, and the team will be taking part in relays, field and sprinting events as well as long distance and road races. The event is seen as a stepping stone for the younger generation of athletes and gives them an opportunity to compete regionally.
The Minister of Education, Culture Youth and Sport (not in photo) Silveria Jacobs wished the athletes much success as they continue to make their parents, coaches, and country proud. The Head of the Department of Sports Jonelle Richardson was at the airport to see the athletes off and wished them much success.
