Emil Lee, General Manager of the hotel, received the award from Expedia representatives Brett Minzner, Area Manager of the Dutch Caribbean; Minu Thawani, Market Manager for St. Maarten; and Steven Landau, Associate Manager for St. Maarten, who visited the hotel personally to congratulate the team. Miss Thawani is the first St. Maarten based Expedia market manager, which has resulted in better communication and relationship between Expedia and hotels on the island.
During the meeting, Mr. Lee stated: "As a top producing tour operator, Expedia has been an essential and supportive partner over the years for Princess Heights. Their exponential growth as a company is not only to their benefit, but to all its partners." He also added that "having knowledgeable and committed Expedia representatives based locally on St. Maarten like Ms. Thawani is a huge step towards understanding our market and challenges. It is wonderful to be dealing with someone based in St Maarten, the personal and regular face to face communication is a great way to strengthen our partnership and grow our businesses together."
