Exclusive:--- Curacao Inspectorate Intends To Stop Dr.Patrick Fa Si Oen From Practicing As A Surgeon In Curacao. --- Reliable Sources.

Willemstad/ PHILIPSBURG:--- The Inspectorate in Curacao intends to inform Dr. Patrick Fa Si Oen that he can no longer practice as a surgeon in Curacao until he is registered as surgeon.  Information received from well-placed sources said that Fa Si Oen will get the official letter on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, the management of SEHOS intends to meet with their Supervisory Board. It is expected that the Inspectorate will deliver its decision before SEHOS makes their decision known to the general public.

SEHOS and Inspectorate remains mum

WILLEMSTAD/PHILIPSBURG:-- The board of the St. Elizabeth Hospital (SEHOS) has terminated the contract for Dr. Patrick Fa Si Oen, an unregistered surgeon who practiced at the institution for the past 14 years. Some two weeks ago SMN News broke the news that SEHOS had an unregistered surgeon working at the institution for the past 14 years. SEHOS made the discovery after they began investigating another surgeon for carelessness.

Independent Mediation Bureau To Be Established

PHILIPSBURG--Government is looking to establish an Independent Mediation Bureau with a pool of mediators whose services can be secured to mediate labour related matters.

The establishment of the bureau is expected to reduce the current situation where the provision of mediation services is affected if the sole mediator in service of government is unavailable. Rafael Boasman, who had been serving as mediator was recently appointed as Minister of Justice.

PHILIPSBURG--The four vacant seats in Parliament will soon be filled. The four persons to whom the seats were offered by the Central Voting Bureau by virtue of the votes they gathered on their parties' slates have accepted their posts.

Voting Bureau Chairman Jason Rogers told The Daily Herald that as of Thursday morning all four had accepted their seats to serve as Members of Parliament (MPs).
