As one of the first topics we start this year with the health care for seniors in Sint Maarten. Too much complaints are reaching our board. We are all entitled to the highest attainable level of health care in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The sickness insurance packages are not equal still and are covering less and less. Whereas the health insurance premium of the seniors in Curacao went down, here in SInt Maarten the premiums are still the same. Government is even contemplating to increase the premiums of the health insurance funds to cover the cost of the unequal health care systems we have on Sint Maarten! The abuse of our seniors has to stop!!
All seniors are hereby invited to share their experience and to bring their proposals to improve the quality of the health care we are receiving here in Sint Maarten from home physicians, specialists, pharmacists, and all other health care providers here or abroad. Come let us discuss the role of SZV and the decisions they take to guarantee the seniors and their family members the right to the highest attainable level of health care!!!
This first SMSPA New Years event will take place on Friday coming February 6, 2015 from 14.30 pm - 17.30 pm in the John Larmonie Center at Long Wall Road. Drinks and snacks will be served.
