PHILIPSBURG:--- The motion presented by the Party for Progress against the Minister of VROMI Egbert Jurendy Doran was rejected by 8 members of parliament that support the coalition.

They raised the first disagreement the Minister of VROMI had with the Ombudsman when he questioned her role when investigating the Over Bank land issuance.

Faction leader of the National Alliance William Marlin who was hospitalized in Panama for 6 months returned to the island on Wednesday in a wheelchair but made sure he attended the meeting of parliament on Friday to support the young minister that has been targeted by the PFP. Marlin in his motivation prior to voting against the motion said that the members of parliament that presented the motion and supported it on Friday did not take the time to read the documents that were presented to them. He said that made wild allegations against a contractor claiming that the contractor did not have the required documents yet he was given the contract because he is related to the Minister and is the brother of another Minister.
