Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
PHILIPSBURG:--- On Saturday, November 4th, the Philipsburg Jubilee Library had an amazing book sale. Your local library was able to raise NAF 733.62 throughout the day during its annual book sale. The funds raised will be used for new materials and activities hosted by the library.This special book sale was intended to bring back some normalcy to the library and her fateful patrons. With, of course, the added goal of encouraging reading among the community of St. Maarten.Library staff and management were heartened to see the friendly faces after the catastrophe that Hurricane Irma brought to our beautiful island and library. Staff members handed out cupcakes as a token of their appreciation to the visitors. There was a delightful ambiance for all ages. Everybody came out to visit the library’s book sale as there was something for everyone.The patrons came in in abundance. The appreciation that was displayed in their faces when they purchased their books for their reading pleasure was a happy one.The library staff welcomed the supporters and HOPE to see them all back in the library soon.
