Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – A flight attendant is now assisting police with their investigation after he was arrested earlier this week.
The Caribbean Airlines employee is accused of trying to smuggle in US dollars into Trinidad and Tobago.
According to reports, he was held at the Piarco International Airport by officers of the customs and excise division following a flight from Guyana.
The flight attendant was reportedly checked by the officers upon reaching the airport and an undeclared amount of US dollars exceeding the allowed amount was found.
