Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections

MARIGOT:--- Directrice Gnrale des Services, Christiane (DGS) Ayache has left the territory of St. Martin over a month ago on arrt Maladie (Sick Leave) in order to end the social unrest that has been ongoing at the Collectivite Saint. Martin.SMN News learned that while the DGS was not on the island for a period of time only on Thursday the President of the Collectivite Daniel Gibbs informed the unions on the departure of the DGS. The DGS left the island on a 3-months sick leave which will be extended for another 3 months which will run until the territorial elections in March 2022. A protocol is expected to be signed today Friday which will bring an end to the strike.
