10 recoveries today

As of October 12th, there were ten (10) COVID-19 recoveries recorded; reducing the total active cases to fifty- six (56). The total number of confirmed cases remains at seven hundred and ten (710).

The Collective Prevention Services (CPS) are monitoring fifty- two (52) people in home isolation. Four (4) patients are hospitalized, three (3) patients are at the St. Maarten Medical Center and one (1) patient is at the Louis Constant Fleming hospital on the French side. The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 remains at twenty- two (22).

The number of people recovered since the first case surfaced on St. Maarten has increased to six hundred and thirty- two (632). One hundred and twenty- eight (128) people are in quarantine based on contact tracing investigations carried out by CPS of persons who may have been in contact with any of the active cases.

CPS has tested 1101 travelers arriving at the Princess Juliana International Airport, (PJIA) and 4701 people throughout the community. As the numbers continue to fluctuate, CPS will continue to actively execute its contact tracing measures.

Minister Panneflek informs the community that no positive results were reported from the labs today, but urges all to continue and follow the implemented guidelines.

As of October 11th, there were three (3) persons who tested positive for COVID-19; bringing the total active cases to sixty- six (66). The total number of confirmed cases is now seven hundred and ten (710).

The Collective Prevention Services (CPS) are monitoring sixty- four (64) people in home isolation. Two (2) patients remains hospitalized, one (1) patient is at the St. Maarten Medical Center and the other patient is at the Louis Constant Fleming hospital on the French side. The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 remains at twenty- two (22).

One hundred and twenty- eight (128) people are in quarantine based on contact tracing investigations carried out by CPS of persons who may have been in contact with any of the active cases.
