Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten - It is still early to come with ultimate plans for the St. Maarten Medical Center, stated Minister with the responsibility for Health, Social Affairs and Labor, the Honorable Emil Lee.
The Minister was at the time, responding to a question put to him during the weekly press conference on Wednesday regarding the subject. According to him, that will be unfair to the different departments to not to speak to all of them first.
He also told reporters that he is still trying to understand the circumstances surrounding the hospital.
“I am really trying to start from basics trying to make sure that I understand that the proper foundations being laid for the construction of a new hospital and what that should be,†the Health Minister said.
The Minister was also quizzed about the counterpart policy.
